I ordered the Al pastor Mexico taco trio and a couple of beef tacos tonight 12/02/23. The food was delicious!!! The hot sauces both green and red.... delicious!! I ordered for take out and the order was ready quickly. The business is easily recognized as you drive up and passed. The place is clean and has a few tables for sitting down for a meal if you choose. I will certainly order from them again and I would recommend to anyone to give them a try! Well done 👏
A very flavorful meal. Establishment needs work.
Food: 5/5 - Some interesting flavors. I ordered the Fire Island Tacos (which was VERY tasty) and the Hicksville Taco was good as well. The ingredients seemed fresh. The food was served in a hard shell wrapped in a soft shell. This is a nice idea. It keeps it from falling apart.
Service: 3/5 - There was only 1 person working in the place. She was the cook and order taker. Food was packaged well in the to-go containers. I was the only one ordering lunch and it took about 8 minutes from start to finish.
Atmosphere: 2/5 - The establishment needs improvement. The huge chalkboard that you order from is unorganized. It's hard to figure out what you can get and the prices. There is a to-go flyer at the register that's more organized. The soda machine was partially broken. Seems rundown. No theme or elements of interest. Some seating for 2. Lighting is basic.
Cleanliness: 2/5 - When you walk in, it smells a bit musty. The eating area failed some rudimentary dust checks. The back of the house seemed clean but not spotless. The cook was wearing a hat, but no gloves.
Parking: 3/5 - Shared lot outside. Not very big and can get filled up quickly.
Restrooms: N/A - didn't visit.
Value: 3/5- 3 tacos we ordered came to about $15.48. Kinda steep. But the flavor was above average. The portion size filled me up.
Overall: 4/5 - The food was the star of the show. It's what will make me come back.
Advice to management: You need to spend about $5000 to get a modern wallboard for ordering and for a deep clean, get some decor to liven the place up.
I ordered last night through grubhub, and the food made me sick. Was up all night throwing up and you know what else, lost a day of work today because I was so sick last night, it drained me
The place is good for groups of 4 or less. Honestly only came here for a small meal and it blew me out the park. Best chicken AND beef empanada around with little fillers. Absolutely great experience.
The seasoning of these tacos is delicious , the amount of ingredients is good, but the tortilla has to be warmer and softer, like meat that is piping hot when served.
Our first time here. The restaurant appears casual but nice. Very clean. Nice decore - tile floor, dark wood, brick red colored walls.
The menu appears to be fairly extensive for a small restaurant.
The staff is very friendly.
They accept credit cards (using Square Cash).
Food is prepared fresh.
Prices are very reasonable. My chicken fajita burrito ($10) included chips and unlimited soda.
Empanadas (rice and cheese, chicken, or beef) are $3 each.
The Hawaiian quesadilla (cheese, ham, pineapple) is $7.75. I'm guessing it's delicious - especially with some barbecue sauce.
They have the soda that we love - Jarritos - in five flavors (lime, pineapple, mango, fruit punch, and grapefruit).
Been twice, BBQ chicken quesadilla and grilled shrimp quesadilla are awesome.
Great taco spot with authentic flavors I highly recommend any of the Mexican style tacos. Try the al pastor or lengua
